Grinding your own flax seed -- HOW??

Anyone know of a good way to grind your own flax seed?

I've tried my food processor (the little bowl even).

I've tried my Braun hand held mini food processor thingy.

I have a coffee grinder that I bought cheap, just to use for grinding

stuff.....now, where did I put that???

Anyway, so far, any and all attempts have failed. The seeds are so tiny

that they somehow avoid the blade.

What gives? Any experienced flax grinder know what I should do? (PS: I

love the taste! Nutty! Tried it for the first time at Nature's a few weeks

ago. Wow. Better than I expected. :))

Brenda,

I have ground wheat and millet and other grains with a coffee grinder, works

great, I don't see why it wouldn't work for Flax seed. I like Stephen's idea

of using the blender.also, I will have to try it!! :-)

Problem was, I couldn't make new Kitchen Aid blender do it (even when using

the mini bowl part of it); couldn't make the mini Betty Crocker one do it;

and couldn't make Braun mini chopper do it, either! <whew>

SOOOO.... I think my only hope is the coffee grinder, which I haven't

gotten around to testing yet. These seeds I have are so small that the

blades just seemed to MISS them.

Thanks all.
