I think it depends upon which climate you're in. I keep my lemon balm

Re-strained in a pot.

Lemon Balm

 

I don't know what possessed me - but about four years ago I bought the most

unassuming little lemon balm plant and made a home for it at the edge of my

p-patch. I should have paid a little more attention to its pedigree...it

is, after all, a member of the mint family. I now have a lemon balm p-patch

- it could probably be now called the Kudzu of the Northwest!
