Guest guest Posted May 29, 1999 Report Share Posted May 29, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Raspberry Sauce Recipe By : 1,000 Vegetarian Recipes, Carol Gelles, pg 555 Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 1,000 Vegetarian Recipes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 10 oz pkg frozen raspberries in light syrup -- thawed 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon raspberry or orange liqueur -- (optional) 1 teaspoon cornstarch Place the raspberries and syrup in a blender container. Cover and process until pureed. Sieve to remove the seeds. Place the raspberry puree, sugar, liqueur, and cornstarch in a 1-quart saucepan. Stir until completely combined. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until mixture comes to a boil. Cool.
