Guest guest
Here is what the XML tagged recipe looks like. Like html. The tags fill the sections of the recipe the way mailto tags fill out email. In the middle of this recipe is the familiar mxp format. MC2, 3 and 4 will grab the mxp part of this export: mc5 will use the tagged info. The only problem we have had so far is with version 2 and 3 because of the NOTES - these early versions don't always know where the note ends. Workaround is to move the note in just the mxp part before import or edit after. Some day we will have browsers that hide the tags from our eyes. or so they tell me. You may send this to other mailing lists. --pat (xpost eat-lf, veg-recipe, recipecafe) cc to mc5Test@onelist <?xml version= " 1.0 " standalone= " yes " encoding= " ISO-8859-1 " ?> <!DOCTYPE mx2 SYSTEM " mx2.dtd " > <mx2 source= " MasterCook 5.0 " date= " June 06, 1999 " > <Summ> <Nam> Lentil Rice Soup - Sans Souci </Nam></Summ> <RcpE name= " Lentil Rice Soup - Sans Souci " author= " Susan Kircher, Sans Souci, Dayton, OH " > <RTxt> <![CDATA[ * Exported from MasterCook * Lentil Rice Soup - Sans Souci Recipe By :Susan Kircher, Sans Souci, Dayton, OH Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Low Fat Soups Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup dried lentils 1 onion -- chopped 1 bay leaf 2 whole cloves 1/4 cup skimmed chicken stock 1 carrot -- chopped 1 celery stalk -- chopped 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon Vegetable salt -- to taste 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper 8 cups water 1/2 cup brown rice Place lentils in a saucepan and cover with water; soak for a few hours or overnight.
