Guest guest Posted June 6, 1999 Report Share Posted June 6, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Mango Crisp Recipe By : Weight Watchers Magazine, June 1999 Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 cups peeled cubed ripe mango -- (about 5 mangoes) 5 tablespoons brown sugar -- divided 1/4 cup butter or margarine -- melted and divided 2 packets instant cinnamon and spice oatmeal -- (such as Quaker) -- (1.62-ounce) 4 cups vanilla fat-free ice cream 1. Preheat oven to 375ø. 2. Combine mango cubes, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon melted butter in a large bowl; stir well. Spoon mango mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish. 3. Combine remaining brown sugar, remaining melted butter, and oatmeal in a bowl; toss with a fork until well blended. Sprinkle over mango mixture. Bake at 375ø for 35 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream. Yield: 8 servings (serving size: one-eighth of crisp and 1/2 cup ice cream.)
