Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 15 oz cans cannellini beans -- rinsed & drained 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 cloves garlic -- minced 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley toasted French bread slices or other bread In bowl, mash beans. In a small skillet, heat oil and saute garlic until just golden. Mix with beans, thyme, soy sauce, Parmesan cheese, and 1 tablespoon of parsley. Line a 1 1/2 cup mold or bowl with wax paper. Scrape pate into bowl and press down with spatula. Cover and chill at least 30 minutes. Unmold and sprinkle with remaining parsley.
