I use it alot in cooking...... ;~) * Exported from MasterCook * Cashew Milk Recipe By : Simply Heavenly! Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Non-Dairy Substitutes Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 C Cashews -- Raw 4 C Water 1/4 Tsp Salt 1 1/2 Tsp Sucanat (or granulated sugar) In a blender put the cashews and 1 cup of the water. Blend until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend for 30 seconds. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : My cookbook suggests, if the " milk' is to be used in a dessert or other sweet dish, or even on breakfast cereal, make it with double the Sucanat (1 tablespoon of Sucanat).
