Guest guest Posted June 20, 1999 Report Share Posted June 20, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Carambola Salad with Spicy Lime Dressing Recipe By :Tropic Cooking Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fruits Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Spicy Lime Dressing: 1 cup fresh lime juice 1/2 cup honey 1 small onion 1 clove garlic 1 small red pepper 4 sprigs fresh parsley fresh green leaf lettuce -- torn in pieces 1 avocado -- peeled and sliced 6 ounces marinated artichokes hearts -- drained 1 sweet carambola -- sliced and seeded Ripe seeded black olives for garnish To make the dressing: In the container of a blender,combine the lime juice, honey, onion, garlic, and red pepper. Process until all ingredients are pureed. Add sprigs of parsley and blend for just a second. Chill until ready to use. Place lettuce leaves on each of four individual salad plates.
