Doesn't this sound good? Peggy Minor posted it to the TNT list and I put it

into MC format because it looks like a 'keeper'. Yum.

Super Stuffed Garlic Bread

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 loaf french bread -- (not sourdough)

1/2 cup butter

6 cloves mashed garlic

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

1 1/2 cup sour cream

2 cup cubed monterey jack cheese

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons dry parsley

2 teaspoons lemon pepper

4 ounces artichoke hearts -- canned

drained and chopped -- (not marinated kind)

Topping: cheddar cheese, olives, tomatoes

 

Take out center of bread and reserve outside crusts. Place crumbs in pan and

saute in butter, garlic and sesame seeds until golden brown. Remove from heat.

 

Combine sour cream, cheese, parsley, lemon pepper and artichoke hearts and stir

into bread mixture.

 

Return all to the bread crust shells. Top with 1 cup grated cheddar cheese.

Decorate with olive slices black or green.

 

Bake 350 degrees for 1/2 hour and garnish with tomato slices and parsley if

desired.
