Note: If fresh blackberries aren't available and you don't want to use frozen fruit, two additional cups of sliced apples may be substituted for the blackberries. Toss bread crumbs with butter. Set aside. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, lemon peel and lemon juice in mixing bowl. Add apple slices and blackberries and gently fold to combine. Spread a third of the bread crumbs in buttered 2-quart casserole. Cover with half of fruit mixture, then another third of the bread crumbs. Repeat layering, using remaining fruit and bread crumbs. Drizzle with water. Cover and bake at 400 degrees 30 minutes. Uncover and bake additional 30 minutes until lightly browned. Serve warm with heavy cream, whipped cream or ice cream. They are very moist! The secret is in the baby food! 1 Mix together the sugar, cinnamon, eggs, vanilla and oil in a large bowl. Add in the baking soda, salt and flour. Stir in the jar of baby carrots, raw carrots, raisins and walnuts. Mix well. 2 Bake in a greased and floured 13x9 inch pan at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 minutes. Check after 20 minutes by inserting clean knife into center. Knife should come out clean. Cool thoroughly before cutting. 3 To Make Frosting: Cream together the cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Frost cooled bars.
