This is from one of them: * Exported from MasterCook * MUSHROOM BURGERS Recipe By : Barbara Harris, at http://www.vegetarianrecipe.com Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Mushrooms Burgers Eggs Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound mushrooms -- sliced 1 large onion -- minced 2 slices firm bread -- finely diced 2 tablespoons Chinese style oyster sauce or soy sauce 1 egg -- slightly beaten salt and pepper -- to taste 1. In a large skillet, saut‚ mushrooms and onion for about 4 minutes, or just until mushrooms begin to give up their juices. Stir in bread cubes and oyster sauce or soy sauce and cook for 1 minute. Remove mixture from pan. And let cool. 2. Stir beaten egg into the mushroom mixture. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 3. Spray skillet with vegetable spray and spoon mixture into skillet in 6 equal amounts. (Mixture will hold together during cooking.) Over medium to medium high heat, brown one side, flip over and brown other side.
