Okay -- I promise this is the last time! Sorry! I realized that the fat &

calorie contents are a little off because you don't use the entire 1/4 cup of

mayo for 2 sandwiches -- it's enough for 4 sandwiches. So I modified the rest

of the recipe to be for 4 sandwiches. I changed the mayo to light mayo. There

is no link in MC5 for " light provolone " , but using the light version will lower

the fat & calories a little more. You can also substitute mozzarella (slices or

grated).

1/4 cup light mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

4 slices provolone cheese

4 slices tomato

8 slices Yves veggie pepperoni -- (small size or 1 slice of big

size)

8 slices bread

 

Combine the Italian seasoning with the mayonnaise. Put the mayonnaise on the

outside sides of each slice of bread and on the inside side of one slice of

bread. Add provolone cheese slice, tomato slice, and slices of veggie

pepperoni. Cook in a nonstick skillet on each side until browned (like a

grilled cheese sandwich).
