Guest guest
I noticed that one of the trifle recipes I posted (which I got from MC) calls for 1 ounce of " crystalised [spelled the English way] angelica " . Does anyone have any idea what this is -- Alan? Marguerite? Karen at work
Guest guest
'angelica: This sweet " herb of the angels " is a member of the parsley family. Grown extensively in Europe, its pale green, celerylike stalks are most often candied and used as decorations for cakes and other desserts. Angelica is also used to flavor liqueurs and sweet wines.'
