Guest guest
I came across an interesting product at the grocery store recently. It is a Goya product (they make Mexican food products). I can't even remember the exact name of it, but it said " ham flavor " on the box. The box is small, square, sort of " yellowish-gold " and has a drawing of a pig on it. The ingredients list " hydrolyzed vegetable protein, artificial ham flavor " (which would be what?), etc. There is no mention of animal ingredients (which I *don't* want) in it. Is anyone familiar with this product or have they ever tried it? I thought about getting some to use in making beans or something *if* it does not, in fact, contain any type of animal product. Any other ideas on what to do with it? Since I couldn't see inside the package, I don't even know what form it's in -- powdered, maybe? I looked for and found a website for Goya, but it is still under construction -- very beginning stages -- so I couldn't find anything out there. Thanks!
