You can use them in fruit smoothies or this instant dessert! Process the bananas and pineapple in a blender until pureed. Pour into glasses and serve. Variations: Needless to say, this has endless possibilities. Add some frozen strawberries or any other frozen fruit that appeals to you. Add a little liqueur- any flavor-or rum. Mix in some cooked grains before blending. Yield: 4 servings, calories: 139, fat: 1g, fiber: 4g. Stir in the quinoa. Add the sugar or sweetener if necessary (mixture will taste less sweet when frozen). Freeze the mixture in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer's directions. Or pour into a shallow pan and freeze, stirring occasionally, until slushy. (If it freezes solid, cook 1 minute in a microwave oven to return it to sherbert texture.)
