Guest guest Posted August 27, 1999 Report Share Posted August 27, 1999 This is an old old recipe that I've made since I was a child! * Exported from MasterCook * Bean Quickie Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Low Fat Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cans pinto beans -- drained & rinsed 2 tablespoons onion -- minced 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup ketchup 1/4 cup corn syrup -- (dark or light) 2 teaspoons dry mustard Cook onion in butter (do not brown). Combine with bean mixture in 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Stir together ketcup, corn syrup, and dry mustard. Mix well and add to bean mixture. Mix well again.
