Steamed Sugar Snap Peas

4 cups sugar snap peas -- trimmed

3 tablespoons butter or margarine -- melted

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon pepper

Garnish: fresh flowers

 

• ARRANGE peas in a steamer basket over boiling water Cover and steam 3 to 4

minutes or until crisp-tender. Toss with buffer, salt, and pepper Garnish, if

desired. Remove flowers before serving. Yield: 6 servings. Prep: 5 min.,

Cook: 4 mins.
