Guest guest Posted September 15, 1999 Report Share Posted September 15, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Stuffed Peppers Recipe By : www.talksoy.com Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soy Vegan Peppers Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup texturized soy protein soaked in 7/8 cup -- boiling water 1 medium onion -- chopped 2 cloves garlic -- minced 1 tablespoon soy -- (vegetable) oil 1 cup cooked rice 1 cup tomato sauce 1/4 cup walnuts 4 bell peppers 2 cups vegetable broth Saute the onion and garlic in the oil until tender. Mix all ingredients except the peppers. Cut off the top of the peppers and remove seeds. Stuff each pepper with the mixture. Place peppers in a baking pan and pour vegetable broth around the base of the peppers. Cover and bake at 350øF for 30 minutes.
