Guest guest Posted September 22, 1999 Report Share Posted September 22, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Noodle Bake Recipe By : Linda's Kitchen Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Casseroles Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 pound egg noodles 1 1/4 cups sour cream 3/4 cup cottage cheese 1 1/4 cups grated cheddar cheese 1/2 cup skim or soy milk 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped mixed fresh herbs of your choice 1 tablespoon chopped chives sea salt and freshly ground black pepper Cook the noodles in boiling water, then drain and rinse under cold water. Mix together the sour cream, cottage cheese, and 1 cup of the cheddar and stir in the milk. Add the herbs and season to taste. Mix thoroughly into the noodles. Grease an 8-inch diameter souffle dish or other deep baking dish. Tip the noodle mixture into it and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top . Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 20-25 minutes.
