Guest guest Posted September 25, 1999 Report Share Posted September 25, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Spicy Pecan Mix (USA) Recipe By :Linda McCartney Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Condiments Pecans Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound shelled pecan pieces 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 tablespoon cajun spice mix 1 teaspoon salt -- or more 1/3 cup sunflower seeds 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds 2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce In a large roasting pan, mix together pecan pieces, vegetable oil, Cajun Spice Mix (your own or see recipe), salt, seeds and soy sauce. Roast at 180C/350F/Gas4 for 20 minutes. Allow to cool. They will keep in an airtight container for several weeks.
