Guest guest Posted October 22, 1999 Report Share Posted October 22, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Easy Microwave Pear Sauce Recipe By :Catherine Arcure, news food columnist Serving Size : 48 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 cups ripe, cored, and cubed pears(any variety) 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon lemon juice Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart microwave-safe measure or bowl. Cover; microwave on high for 6 minutes. Stir pear mixture; rotate dish a quarter turn and microwave at high 6-8 minutes longer or until tender. Puree mixture in blender or food processor. Makes about 3 cups.
