I'm not sure where I originally got the recipe, but it probably is an old one from eat-l. * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Sunshine Gingered Carrots Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Vegetables 2 points Tried Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound carrots 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 2 teaspoons cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 cup orange juice 2 tablespoons butter Peel carrots and slice them diagonally into 1/4 inch slices. Cook in boiling water until tender. Drain, and keep warm. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, and ginger in a saucepan. Gradually add orange juice, stirring well. Boil 1 minute stirring constantly. Add butter, and stir well.
