Guest guest Posted November 7, 1999 Report Share Posted November 7, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Double Peanut Cookies Recipe By :Judith and Evan Jones Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Posted to Grans Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 6 1/2 ounces peanut butter 1 egg 2 tablespoons milk 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 3/4 cup chopped peanuts Soften the butter in a bowl and blend in the two sugars and peanut butter. Beat in the egg and milk. Toss together the flour, cream of tartar and baking soda; blend into the creamed mixture. Fold in the peanuts. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets, leaving 1 1/2 " between. Press down lightly on each mound to flatten. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned at the edges. Remove to a rack to cool. Source: " L.L.
