Guest guest Posted November 10, 1999 Report Share Posted November 10, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Avocado Soup Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Vegetarian Soups & Stews Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 large ripe avocado -- peeled, seeded and sliced 1 1/2 cups broth 1 clove garlic 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper flakes or a few drops Tabasco 1 1/2 cups cracked ice 1/2 cup cream or milk Into the container of a blender, put the avocado, broth, garlic and pepper flakes. Cover and blend on high speed for 15 seconds. Remove cover and add the ice and milk or cream. Cover and blend for 10 seconds longer. Stir before pouring.
