Guest guest Posted November 11, 1999 Report Share Posted November 11, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Pepper Stakes with Rice Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes Meat Analogs Vegetarian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup onion sliced 2 medium green peppers -- sliced 2 T margarine 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 T corn starch 1 can tomatoes or 2 large fresh tomatoes -- (14 1/2 ounce) chopped 1 T paprika 1/2 t. garlic powder 2 T McKay's Beef Style Instant Broth & Seasoning 1 can Worthington Prime Stakes -- (13 ounce) drained and diced 3 cups cooked rice 1.) In a large skillet on medium heat saute onions and pepper in margarine until tender. 2.) In a small bowl, combine water, soy sauce and cornstarch. Add to onions and peppers and stir to blend. 3.) Add remaining ingredients except rice. 4.) Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 5.)
