Pears instead of apples. * Exported from MasterCook * Cranberry Pear Relish Recipe By :Sheila Lukins Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Condiments Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 cups fresh cranberries 2 cups sugar 1 cup fresh orange juice 1 tablespoon finely grated orange zest 2 firm pears Inspect the cranberries and discard blemished or hard ones. Peel and core the pears and cut into 1/3-inch dice. Combine all of the ingredients in a heavy saucepan and still well. Place the pan over medium heat and boil until the bearries po open, about 10 minutes. Skim the foam off the surface with a metal spoon and let the relish cool to rom temperature. Refrigerate, covered, for up to 2 months. EACH SERVING: 200 cals, no fat, 2 g fiber.
