Guest guest
I was cleaning (semi) my office and came across this truly decadent recipe and thought I'd share. * Exported from MasterCook * Slices of Sin Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee 1/2 pound butter 1 cup sugar 4 eggs -- beaten 1 cup heavy cream 3 teaspoons brandy Preheat oveb to 350F. Line a glass loaf pan with foil and butter the foil. In a double boiler melt the chocolatte in the coffee. Add the butter and sugar, stirring untiil butter is melted. Cool the mixture for 10 minutes. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Bake until a crust forms on top, about 35-45 minutes. Set pan in enough cool water to come halfway up the pan. The dessert will rise and fall as it cools. When cool, wrap the pan well and refrigerate for at least 2 days or up to 2 weeks. When ready to serve, whip the cream until stiff and stir brandy into the whipped cream. Unmold the loaf and slice into individual servings. Garnish with whipped cream. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Per serving: 4600 Calories (kcal); 357g Total Fat; (67% calories from fat); 38g Protein; 352g Carbohydrate; 1571mg Cholesterol; 2213mg Sodium Food Exchanges: 0 Grain(Starch); 3 Lean Meat; 0 Vegetable; 0 Fruit; 70 Fat; 23 Other Carbohydrates Nutr.
