I tried another one today and it's really good! * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Hearty Vegetable Stew Recipe By : Shop & Save calendar Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soups and Stews Vegetables Vegetarian 2 points Tried Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 32 ozs tomato juice 14 1/2 ozs tomatoes -- pureed 2 c water 2 potatoes -- chopped 15 ozs garbanzo beans -- drained 15 ozs kidney beans -- drained 1 c lentils -- rinsed and drained 1 lg onion -- chopped 2 tsps garlic powder 1 c red pepper -- chopped 1 c green pepper -- chopped 10 ozs frozen broccoli 2 carrots -- grated 2 tbsps dried parsley 2 tbsps chili powder 2 tsps dried basil 1 tsp ground cumin Combine everything. After bringing to a boil; reduce heat & simmer, covered, 30 - 45 minutes or until lentils are tender. Sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
