Guest guest Posted December 14, 1999 Report Share Posted December 14, 1999 * Exported from MasterCook * Breakfast Rice Recipe By : The New McDougall Cookbook, page 90 Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:05 Categories : Breakfast Rice Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup long-grain brown rice 1 cup unsweetened apple juice 1 cup water 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Combine all of the ingredients in a sacuepan. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat, and cook for 40 mintues. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. This may also be made in a slow cooker overnight. Combine all of the ingredients and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Converted by MC_Buster.
