Hello everyone here is a nice plain pasta and sauce recipe.

PASTA AND VEGETARIAN SAUCE

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

4 teaspoons oil

1 large onion -- chopped

1 clove garlic -- crushed

1 green bell pepper -- seeded and diced

1 red bell pepper -- seeded and diced

1 yellow bell pepper -- seeded and diced

1 can chopped tomatoes

3 tablespoons tomato paste

1/2 pound pasta shells -- penne or rigatoni

2 tablespoons fresh basil -- chopped

1/4 pound feta cheese -- or ricotta cubed

2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

salt and pepper -- to t

 

Sauté onion and garlic in oil for five minutes. Add bellpeppers and cook for

about 5-8 minutes until soft. Add canned tomato and tomato paste and spices.

Let simmer under lid for 20 minutes. Cook pasta until done and drain. Add

pasta and cheeses to sauce. Stir and serve immediately.
