Guest guest
Hi here is the Salsa verde recipe. According to the nutritional info it comes out to 4.5 points for the whole recipe, but according to weight watchers this would be a zero point recipe because all it consists of is vegetables. So I would count it as zero points because even " normal " salsa is zero points Enjoy Jenn Ottawa, Ontario, Canada http://tlotc.dhs.org/jenn/ * Exported from MasterCook * SALSA VERDE Recipe By : " Lester_Kim Sinclair " <sinclai Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 5 Point Low-Fat Mexican Sauces <1 Point Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 10 tomatillos 5 chiles serranos -- (5 to 15) (depending on how many you want it) 1 onion -- quartered 5 cloves garlic Place all in a pot and add just a little water, enough to steam. Steam for about 2-5 minutes, or until the tomatillos look a little transluscent. Or you can heat a pan and roast everything a little at a time. Whirl in a blender or food processor, just until chopped, but not pureed. Add salt to taste.
