Guest guest
Hi here is a nice alternative to the otherwise high fat guacamole, add a little bit of tobasco or chili sauce to give it a little more zest. the whole recipe is 1 point and it makes about 12 servings so enjoy. Try this as a pita sandwich topper with canned refried beans ( or just mash kidey beans) lettuce, tomato, and this on a pita bread and there you'd have a 2-3 point sandwich Enjoy Jenn Ottawa, Ontario, Canada http://tlotc.dhs.org/jenn/ * Exported from MasterCook * ASPARAGUS GUACAMOLE Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 1 Point Done By Dotties Calculator Low-Fat Sauces Meatless Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound asparagus -- cut into 1 " lengths about 2 cups 3/4 cup water 2 tablespoons nonfat plain yogurt 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 medium tomato -- seeded and chopped about 1cup 2 tablespoons sliced green onions 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 clove garlic -- minced 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cayenne Combine asparagus and water in a 2-quart saucepan.
