Guest guest
Hi here is a recipe that I'm making for supper tonight It is high in fibre and low in points. You can add a dollop of fat free yogurt on the top to make it creamy. It my version of the indian lentil soups you get in restaurants " Dals " I think they are called. I like to make a vegetable curry to accompany this dish ( same seasonings in a pot with veggies and water thicken with cornstarch or mashed potatoe) Happy New year Enjoy Jenn Ottawa, Ontario, Canada http://tlotc.dhs.org/jenn/ * Exported from MasterCook * CURRIED LENTIL SOUP Recipe By : Jennifer Hall <ladyevelyn Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : 1 Point Done By Dotties Calculator Meatless Dishes Soups Beans And Legumes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup lentils -- green 1 cup lentils -- red 1 onion -- chopped 1/2 lemon pinch cumin pinch tumeric pinch paprika pinch ground cardamom pinch ground fennel pinch garlic powder pinch pepper 5 cups water pinch salt 3 drops Tabasco sauce Combine lentils water and spices in a saucepan.
