Guest guest
Hi, A recent TV program suggested dogs may have been the deciding factor in why early homosapien populations out competed neanderthals in their long term survival on this planet. Homosapiens developed a special co-existence with dogs and the dogs lived amongst humans and on the edges of homosapien camps and probably warned humans of impending dangers. They also may have been useful in hunting. Considering the special relationship existing between dogs and humans it is terrible that many humans treat dogs so poorly (as evidenced by the number of dogs abandoned and euthanased each year). It is also absolutely unacceptable that humans actually wish to eat dogs. Countless examples exist of the loyalty of dogs to humans and dogs deserve our respect and compassion rather than the cruel manner in which so many of them are treated. Kind regards, Marguerite
