Greek Animal Rescue - Canada (GARCANADA) participated in the Toronto

premiere screening of " Best Friend Forgotten " on November 16th at The

Toronto Centre for the Arts.

" Best Friend Forgotten " is a compelling 47-minute documentary which

explores the crisis of pet overpopulation by following a dog

named 'Clover' and a cat named 'Oreo' from the time they were picked

up by Animal Control Officers and through the shelter system.

Through Oreo and Clover's experiences, you will get a first-hand look

at the realities of pet overpopulation and the magnitude of man's

role in the drama. The on-camera host, David Duchovny (from TV's The

X-Files) narrates this journey with compassion, humor and hope.

Identifying the issues and promoting solutions are integral parts of

this heart-felt examination of what happens when there are too many

pets and not enough homes.

" Best Friend Forgotten " is the very first documentary of its kind

utilizing professional Hollywood filmmakers to tell the compelling

truth behind the issue of pet overpopulation. You will walk away

entertained, educated and inspired to help solve the problem in your

own communities.

You can support GARCANADA by ordering a DVD or VHS of this

documentary. To order your " Best Friend Forgotten " VHS or DVD,

please send an email to diannealdan and include your

name, mailing address and credit card information (name as it appears

on the card, number and expiry date). Or you can send a cheque

(payable to 'Give Voice to Animals') to me at 614 - 25 The Esplanade,

Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5E 1W5.

The more orders I receive, the more funds GAR receives. For example,

25 orders will give GAR $75; 50 orders = $200, 100 orders = $500 and

150 orders = $1,000 for GAR!

The VHS/DVD will be released to the public at the end of the tour in

February, 2004.

Thank you for supporting Greek Animal Rescue - Canada (GARCANADA)

through its participation in this event.
