Hi !

I am Nicolas BISCAYE from AFIPA, an organization which fight against

fur in France.

We work about it during 3years and we want to have got some

informations, hoping that you can help us :

- who can give me some informations about the " dhole " (or cuon

alpinus " ) ? Is it the same specie that " dog from China " ?(like

leopard cat is called cat from china)

- what are the CITES comportement in China concerning protected

species ?

Thank you very much for your help. If I can help you, it will be a

pleasure !

I think that dhole is a kind of wild dog in India and

have no idea of its relationship with Chinese dog

species. What is the look of the dog from China? Do

you mean the kind of dog with short yellow fur, which

is commonly seen in Chinese villages? It is called

" Tugou " in Chinese, meaning the local dog.

What does the word " comportement " mean in your second

question?

Yes, the word means for me behaviour or attitude. I want to know

what is the CITES attitude concerning exportation permits.

Irene, I have sent you a mail yesterday.

Thanks
