I'm faced with that now as I'm taking a mini-vacation for a few days. I don't want to drag my big juicer with me and I didn't find the time to stock up on fresh fruits before leaving. I guess the trick is to really prepare ahead of time. Buy and pack the fruits and vegs in ready to eat form. I use to have a hand pump vacuum device that could remove the air from a juice jar and make it last several days. I don't have it now and can't find the device anymore on the web. I think I bought it from a tv ad. Does anyone else have a source for the hand vacuum pump? Well I'll let you know how I manage when I get back.
