Hi Lion

I've just joined, so hello

everyone!
I'm a true fruitarian, and have been for two years,

my teeth are fine, but my hair's a lot thinner (less

of it, it seems!) and finer (strands) than it was,

but it has also become much lighter/fairer.
Hope

that helps,
Bobbiexxx

Thanks Bobbie,

For the reply... I was

starting to wonder....!!
I am concerned about the teeth

because of the amount of acid in fruits... of course it

could be " good " acid and not what we think of as

" acid " ... Also Where do you get your protien from on the

fruit diet? Do you include nuts in your diet and if so

what kind.... Your input is invaluable as your

experiencing this first hand... Also could you post a normal

days worth of fruits consumed?

Thanks once

again!
Lion :-)

Hello Lion:

You have a real valid concern.

Fruit acids can damage teeth. But in reality, they will

break down unsound portions of your teeth. They will

also cause fillings to fall out while your body is

still transitioning. If you want to protect your teeth

from fruit acids, drink lots of mineral-rich kale

juice. Once your body has reached a certain stage in

it's adaptation to raw foods, it will undergo a

phenomenon that David Wolfe, in his book Sunfood Diet

Success System, has aptly named " mineral trade-out " . It

is vitally important that during this time you get

lots and lots of minerals from greens like kale. If

you do this, your teeth will make it through this

process intact. Once the " mineral trade-out " is complete,

even fruit acids from citrus fruit will not harm your

teeth.
