I have this book " Food Enzymes, the missing link

to radiant health " by Humbart Santillo, an excelent

book. He talks about the enzyme levels being depleated

over time by cooked food. ie; children have more

enzymes than adults, and young adults have more enzymes

than older adults, etc. He sugests that we not only

need to eat raw foods but we need to take enzyme

supplements to build those reserves back up. He recomends a

supplement distributed by " Rainbow Light "

0463
which I will order as soon as the sun comes up

and I can find my credit card. in the back of the

book he talks about Hypoglycemea (I found out I have

every symtom) he says all blood sugar problems can be

corrected by taking supplemental amylase (starch catalyzing

enzyme) which is produced by the pancreas, diabetics and

hypoglycemics do not produce enough. He also says that as many

as 100 million americans may have hypoglycemia, this

is like a third of the population. Some of the

symtoms are; depression, insomnia, lethargy,

irritability, lack of concentration, an inabilty to be satiated

after a meal (after eating a big meal you feel like you

need a little somthing sweet, like about six bananas),

and the big one is, if these symtoms improve after

eating somthing sweet. Victorious Kulvenskas in

" Survival into The 21st Century " says it can take years, on

a living foods diet to get over Hypoglycemia. I

believe the reason it takes so long is because the

pancreas has to be healed before it can begain producing

the correct amounts of amylase.

If any of you

think you may have hypoglycemia let me know and I will

keep you posted on my progress.

Doug

I think I may have hypoglycemia because I always

crave sweets and I usually have all the symptoms you

mentioned. My aunt and cousin both have it and they

recommend not eating more than 2 servings of fruit

aday(they also believe that food is better cooked because

it is broken down and better for your body to

digest). My aunt is in the health field and says this. Of

cource I totally dissagree and believe raw food is so

much better to digest because of the enzymes.
I

eat about a 75% raw food diet and feel much better

then before when I ate more cooked food but I may

still have the hypogylcemia(but I am not going to give

up fruit) I love fruit!!!So where can you get the

amylace enzime? Can you get it at a health food store?
I have another question. I embaresly have toe

fungis and my aunt sayed it is caused by a damp

condition in the body and an underactive spleen. It is also

caused by consumption of too much dairy products but i

know i didnt get it from that because I eat less then

2% dairy in my diet. She also said to eat more

cooked broth verses raw foods but again haha I dissagree

with her. What can I take(herbs or otherwise) that can

help my condition. I will not take that drug to help

this out, it seems from the side affects i read it

does more harm to the body then good.
Thank you

for you help and I hope you have a fruitfull day!
Jamie,

There's a company called Life

Services that sells many vitamin, nutrient and related

products by mail. I've dealt with this company in the past

and they are very reputable, good quality at good

value. They sell a product called Digezyme which has

amylase and the other primary enzymes necessary for

optimal digestion. And it is a plant based formula. 180

capsules is something like $10 which seems fairly cheap to

me. You can find them on the internet at

www.lifeservices.com/prodcat.htm if you want to look at their

product.

Mallon
