Guest guest
I'm 60 hours on water now. Feeling exhausted although that's what I expected. I've done three juice fasts before of 7, 4 and 2 days and a 40 hour water fast although never such a long water fast. I'm still not sure how long I'm going to go I think I'll just take it as it comes.
By the way are you also looking to lose wieght? I'm already underweight so I can't fast for that long. So how are you going/feeling????
Guest guest
60 hours so far? Good for you!! Water fasting is sure a challenge, isn't it?

I did 8 days of nothing but water after eating nothing but watermalon for 4 days as a preparation period. What a trip! Day 3 was the worst. I felt dizzy and very nauseas up until about noon then I felt fantastic. The remaining 4 days were pretty good but I got so tired so easily. I'd have to lay down after my mroning shower! I don't regret doing it at all and I know I benefited from it greatly. That was about 8 years ago.

If you can keep it going, I salute you. Water fasting isn't for everybody and can be quite a challenge. I was dating an experienced hard-core faster and he was my 'coach' so that made it alot easier. This guy would do 30 days on just water and he was already a skinny bean pole. What a strange one, that guy.

Do you plan on switching to juices or are you content with just water? Either way, your body is thanking you.
Guest guest
I've switched over to juice now! I felt so awful that I couldn't stand that 3rd day. Today I feel fine and full of energy. I think I may stop soon as I've lost weight witch is kind of scary.
How are you feeling today?
Guest guest
Yes, those first few days can be a little rough, can't they? I'm sure the juices will help you to feel alot better and still allow you to detox. I've done both water and juice fasts now and I definitely prefer a juice fast.

How are you feeling after incorporating some juice? What kinds of juices are you drinking?

This is day 5 for me and I feel just fine. I've lost 7 pounds so far and the " thing " on my cheek looks alot better. My skin in general looks better. Yesterday, I asked my female co-worker who usually gives me a hard time about going to the dermotologist if the spot looked any better. She said " yes, but that's because you're wearing make-up. " I told her I wasn't wearing any make-up, which I wasn't (except for eyes and lips). She looked a little surprised. I gave up wearing foundation and blush a few months ago when I changed my diet to mostly raw.

Let me know how you're doing on those juices!
