Guest guest
And I further admit I am not favourable to juices.

Juices are refined fruit or vegetables, with most of the goodness taken out. They are very high in calories and very low in healthy fibre.

Juices give a buzz or a hit. Like nicotine or cocaine, they provide instant gratification. Guest guest
That seems a little extreme to compare fresh juice to cocaine or nicotine. Anytime I've ever drank juice too fast I got nauseas but never felt 'buzzed'. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but I've done my share of cocaine in the past and there's no comparison to that and what juice does.

If you aren't used to drinking juices, it's best to dilute them with water.

Yes, juice has no fiber in it but you can get fiber from the other things you eat. Your body will do just fine without fat or fiber for a few weeks or even months on a juice or water fast.

Again, I've never felt that juice gave me a " hit " or " buzz " . If it did, I'd be juicing like a mad woman!
Guest guest
I definately get a buzz from fresh juice in the morning... I feel energy rush through me. I love it. There is no guilt in getting a rush from Mother Nature.
Guest guest
I had 30oz of fresh carrot juice this morning and could hardly sit still, I had so much energy. I usually only have 8oz. I think it is possible to get too much even of natural sugar, but still its WAY better than a candy bar.
