Guest guest Posted April 5, 2001 Report Share Posted April 5, 2001 hello, i am 18 and my name is amanda. i have been vegetarian since i was 14, vegan since i was 16 and now i have gone the way of the raw foods. a lot of my friends and family worry that i am getting an eating disorder because i am constantly reading labels and eating only fruits and vegetables. i am very thin and i model, so i guess it prob adds to it al. but i just wanted to say hi to everyone and i love to eat healthy!! I'm incidentally a big fan of the Black Crows, Blind Melon (1st CD), the Chilipeppers, Phish, Soundgarden, etc., although I don't follow them all as closely as I used to.<br><br>You've landed here at an odd time, a bunch of old or ex-hippies reminiscing about when weed was cheap. Some of the posters here would probably be eating it right now if you could get off on raw and it wasn't so expensive now. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of them attended the first Woodstock festival.<br><br>Regarding raw food, KauGuy (Doug) and RawFoodsRule are 100% raw, OrionsDad is either about 85% or above and I think Victor (Shortus) is way up the there (and highly raw too). There are a few other experts that drop lines occasionally. I'm only about 50% raw so I defer to these guys on these matters.<br><br>If you have time, look at some of the early posts to this board for good general information, recipes, etc. If you have any specific health concerns about 100% raw, post them here and someone knowledgable will respond.<br><br>Mallon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

At 38, relative to an eighteen-year old, I think she'd consider me fairly old.
