Guest guest Posted June 24, 2001 Report Share Posted June 24, 2001 I have always known for a very long time that raw was for me.<br><br>I don't know why it took me so long to get around to it, a real long time. I suppose I was looking in the wrong places.<br><br>It seems that it is a base for many different things. Like calmness, like an easy movement between inner and outer, sheer physical health. And now I can see as a base for my psychological health.<br><br>The life issue for my psyche is how to be myself in the world.<br><br>I have a strong sense of my inner self and a moderate understanding of the outer world. I know my inner world requires integrity and the outer world requies conformity. So far I haven't resolved the conflict between integrity and conformity.<br><br>I observe most resolve the conflict by opting for conformity and allowing their inner life to be stifled, to suffer absurdly and never to grow into a full individual. The price of successful conformity is inner poverty.<br><br>So I think for me raw is a prime step on the way to bringing my inner self out into the world.<br><br>There is plainly some conflict between my inner self and the outer world. The easy way out is to deny the conflict or to find someone else to blame. The way of courage, the way of moral courage, raw courage is to resolve the conflict.<br><br>Victor.<br>It's true I'm not the messiah, just a naughty boy. Imagine me as a beautiful, golden labrador puppy and you stroke my head, rub my back, particularly my lovely soft ears.
