Guest guest
I was just wondering...what kind of natural hygeine info I could get here, from my friends at ? The only thing I have heard is that you can wash your hair with lemon juice (I just tried it on my long easily tangled hair-I'll let you know how it goes). And use olive oil on it occasionally. What else do you guys know about? Thx, Denise
Guest guest
Hi Denise, The book " How it all Vegan " has a section on making your own beauty products. My girlfriend made an oatmeal-almond facial scrub that she uses about once a week, that she swears by. We also made a friend a gift basket from that book; we gave her the facial scrub, a massage oil, a facial mask mix, a lotion, a hair rinse, a skin toner and I think something else. Most of the " products " are very simple, one to four ingredients. I remember seeing toothpaste in there. We made a deoderant powder that we use in shoes sometimes... There are tons of things, basically! I think you can find similar things online too. Good luck, Carol rawfood, tantragirl <no_reply> wrote: > I was just wondering...what kind of natural hygeine info I could get > here, from my friends at ? Guest guest
I had no intention of being judgmental. It's none of my business what you chose to eat. If you feel you need meat or donuts, cigarettes, or a martini in the evening, to have a balance in your life, it's your body and your decision to make. I simply asked for clarification of what this list is about. Since it is classified at as a vegetarian list about raw foods, I was surprised by seeing a post advocating meat. Lauretta regdeluca [regdeluca] Friday, April 19, 2002 10:27 AM rawfood Re: [Raw Food] Natural Hygiene What about those who believe in a mostly raw diet. I eat only specific meats in small portions just a couple times/week. Does that make me bad?? If I could always eat raw I would, but if I don't have a balance in my life, I end up going off the deep end. It's mental I suppose, but it will not change for me.
