But we raw fooders or vegetarians make veggie sushi. It takes good to me and I have veggie rolls now and then. I just bought a bag of Nori sheets at my local Health food store for about $3.99. Nori is also full of great minerals and B-vitamins, so Yes it is good for you. Hope this helps!--- Christie cutiechrissie _______________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx

" ---I was a big meat eater myself. I first quit smoking, drinking and smoking pot. Then a month later, I quit sodas. A month after that I gave up meat, refined sugar & refined flour. A couple weeks after that I gave up Dairy & eggs. I was a straight cooked Vegan for about 8 1/2 months. After that I easily changed over to one cooked meal a day. Then 1 cooked item a day. Now I go raw totally for weeks at a time without anything cooked. I'm beginning the move towards total raw foodism. I gave up alot, but it was so worth it for me, my family and my health. I've lost 85 pounds so far, no longer take any medicine for hypertension, blood sugar, hormones or migraines. You can do it, just move within your own timing. For me it was God's timing, I truley believe God gave me the grace and strength to accomplish all of this.--- Christie cutiechrissie _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. Guest guest
I'm brand new to this list but have enjoyed reading some of the arcives. I'm so glad someone asked the question about the nori roll. I've seen them mentioned on several raw food sites and have found nori sheets at the health food store and the supermarket. The package said they should be heated or cooked -- which would not be in agreement with raw foodism. So . . . how are they prepared?? Do you just sort of use them like a tortilla to put veggies in and then wrap them up and eat them? What in the world does it taste like?? Thanks in advance! --Linda
Guest guest
Hi Linda, Welcome to the group! There are two kinds of Nori rolls, black (raw) and green(cooked). Make sure you get the black ones. I just take out a sheet, chop up some veggies (Red pepper, cucumber, carrot, celery, avocado) adn roll it up. You can make up a " sauce " to go with it from a raw tahini or something else. Very, very yummy. Hope that helps! Tim rawfood, " lljones4938 " <ljonesx2@h...> wrote: > I'm brand new to this list but have enjoyed reading some of the > arcives.
