Guest guest
Hi I'd suggest that you start out with adding a little bit of greens to your juice. I still think they taste nasty by themselves, so I know my palate is still a work-in-progress. But if they are added to another juice, then I don't mind them at all. So I would guess that if the amount of green was increased gradually, then after a while they might actually taste good by themselves, too. just a thought, rachel~ garybearsgirl writes: > I've been meaning to do some green juices, but I'm afraid they would > taste nasty. Guest guest
Long before I even heard of raw, a friend made me apple-spinach juice a couple times, and it was dee-lish. I bet apple would sweeten up any green juice. rawfood, GardenLivin@a... wrote: > Hi > I'd suggest that you start out with adding a little bit of greens to your > juice. Guest guest
Believe it or not, beet greens are great. I mix them with a bit of carrot and celery. They aren't bitter at all. I also juice lettuce-Bib and romaine, spinach & parsley too. I'm not in love with eating them, so juicing is the best way to get it in. --- carolj1974 <no_reply > wrote: > Long before I even heard of raw, a friend made me > apple-spinach juice > a couple times, and it was dee-lish. Guest guest
Be open-minded and experiment. I was surprised to find that foods I disliked cooked (especially spinach, bell peppers, mushrooms, and many types of green vegetables) were wonderful raw. Anything I have trouble eating raw, I often find I like when juiced. As you eat raw, your taste changes, too. Don't hesitate to go back in a few months and try those yucky foods again.
