Not quite. Leave the portion in that you are replying to, otherwise there is

no reference point.

I receive posts in digest form also and it means scrolling forever through

old posts, headers, unsub info etc to get to the meat.

The gripe comes from people who store their emailin limited mailboxes on

line or otherwise people with either tiny hard drives or are still

running on floppies. Just to you know I quite like the history or at

least the reference of the message being addressed.

not really - I don't store online, I don't run on floppies - haven't in 10

years and I dont consider 60 gigs a small harddrive - but my time is limited

and well trimmed e-mails

in digest would save me a lot of time. Unfortunately no one trimmed their

e-mails so I went to individual mails and I usually end up reading very few

messages because of it,

but I would prefer digest if it was useable. So the gripe is probably also

from busy people.
