All:

Clorox is sodium hypochlorite. Salt is sodium chloride. Bleach is

manufactured by combining chlorine and caustic soda which produces sodium

hypochlorite.

Just make sure you soak the fruits, vegetables, whatever in clean water for

at least the length of time in the clorox. Thin foods such as lettuce need a

very short soak, maybe two - three minutes. Oranges etc a longer soak. This

info btw is from Dr. Hazel Parcells of New Mexico , who lived to about 103

or so. I've been using the process for the last 25-30 years and only need

the iron lung on weekends.(I'm kidding)

Many years ago when I lived in Europe in the military we wre told to use

this process to clean our foods because at the time human feces were used as

fertilizer on locally grown crops.

-If chlorine is used to make bleach, I really don't like to idea of

soaking my fruits and veggies in that. I will just try to eat organic

and perhaps use salt to leach the poisons out of my produce that

isn't organic. Also, organic doesn't mean there aren't any toxins in

it.

I didn't say anything at the time but I don't think that sounds right

either. Clorox is deadly stuff. They killed people with clorine gas in

the first world war and clorox is clorine bound to salt. My neighbor

used clorox to wash the mildew off the outside of her house and it

nearly killed her. I don't even want that stuff in my house, let alone

on my food. I've had it on my skin and you can not wash it off. It

soaks in, I'm sure it would do the same to fruits and vegtables.
