Guest guest
I haven't drank coffee in about 1-2 months. I've gotten ample sleep lately. But sometimes, I just get tired in the afternoons. I was trying to do some important work this afternoon but I just kept feeling like falling asleep. Since I don't really have time for an afternoon nap, I ended up giving in and drinking a cup of coffee. I feel better now and no longer feel like I'm about to fall asleep. What would you guys have done in that situation?
Guest guest
Philip, I'll answer the question as put. Firstly, I check that I have not been sitting around for too long. If that might be the case, I take the stroll and mull over the important work. The walk produces the clarity of mind and then the escape from the fog by lapsing into the subconscious does not occur. Also getting yesterday's sugar out of the blood through exercise is tonic. I find that the brain does not function as well in the desk position as it does when walking. Secondly, I would ponder whether blood sugar has got too low. If such might be the case then and an apple or a banana could shift the problem. I can recall that after driving a couple of hundred miles in the rain and feeling tired on a motorway. Then I did the sum that a cup of coffee would be better than an accident but not before eating a lot of fruit. Now I stop. I used to drink untold numbers of cups of coffee a day and now after a pound or so of green leaves for lunch I never get the problem in the afternoons. Is this useful? Guest guest
I take Seasilver. This stuff is completely AWESOME. I have been on it for less than a week, and feel healtier, happier, 20 years younger, and I broke a SERIOUS caffeine habit. I dont sell it, so I am not making any money off it, so dont think that. My depression is gone, I sleep better, wake up refreshed, my friends asked me what I was taking, cuz I seemed to light up a room when I walked in. I would recommend this stuff to anyone, and it really is not very expensive. I was on a 5.00 a day Starbucks habit, and now I am completely free of it, and saving a TON of money just by taking the seasilver. If your interested let me know, I dont know if you can buy it in stores, I get it through the mail. Good luck to you, Susi Philip Mak wrote:I haven't drank coffee in about 1-2 months. Guest guest
Your body is telling you it needs some sleep. It's quite simple.IMHO, most folks tend to ignore these messages from the body and go ahead with the stimulants. I would have rested. If you work together with your body, it will reward you with many years of good health and functioning. Guest guest
Oh yes, 2 months is hardly enough time to detox off of coffee. I gave myself 7 months of no caffeine before I knew I was completely over it. Susan rawfood, " Susan Garrett " <slgarrett_joye> wrote: > Your body is telling you it needs some sleep. Guest guest
Greetings, I also take Seasilver, but have found that if I take it later in the day, it keeps me awake at night. So I take Seasilver in the morning, nettle in the morning and evening and that works really good for me. Each person has to find their own way in life, it seems. Blessings to all, Marlenerawfood, susi hall <susiwagnerhall> wrote: > > I take Seasilver. This stuff is completely AWESOME. Guest guest
Doug, go to www.seasilver.com It is a supplement, which I know raw fooders arent really supposed to take, but it is something I personally feel I need in my life right now. I havent been a raw fooder long enough to get all the benefits from the diet (I have a LONG way to go through detox) and I feel the seasilver is helping me along my journey. Peace, Susi kauguy wrote: What is Seasilver???? Doug
