Guest guest
Does anyone know if wheatgrass juice that's frozen is nearly as good (nutrition-wise) as the fresh stuff? Thanks, Chantal
Guest guest
I have had great benefits from both forms...fresh is always a level better, but there is still alot of magic in frozen. Guest guest
> Does it have B12? In most people the quantity is less than optimal so some B-12 is supplemented or injested with meat. I know one person, however, who has been vegan for 3 decades and not taken any B-12 nor any foods that are supposed to contain it, not even spirulina, and has no symptoms of B-12 shortage, nor any symptoms of anything at the age of 74. rusty - <jennysilliman <rawfood > Saturday, September 13, 2003 11:38 AM [Raw Food] Re: wheatgrass > > > On Fri, 12 Sep 2003 " Mike " writes: > Wheatgrass juice contains almost every > nutrient you need... > Mike > > Hi Mike! > Does it have B12? Guest guest
hi breezi... > Re: Question for Nora Lenz > I am just sure that at one of Loren's talks he told us that we do not have the enzyme > to digest wheatgrass or any grasses and therefore are wasting our time by taking the > grasses. was loren saying that the juice was indigestible or the fiber i've read that the fiber in grasses is so coarse that it can harm the gut but i've never read anything negative about grass juice > It was soapy and bitter tasting. i don't know where you got the wheatgrass to make the juice but the stuff in the stores can be like any other store produce 'less than optimal' to put it mildly it sounds like you had some low brix (read low quality) juice i've tasted wheat grass juice from plants that were grown in lava soil under a leguminous tree and it was *delicious* >I also remember Loren saying if we taste > something that is bitter to us then we are not meant to eat it. i agree with loren... there's something to be said about eating one food at a time and tuning into individual veggies and fruits and how you feel after eating them... then make a ''dish'' once you get a feel for what your body likes but be careful of food combinations when you start mixing things up :/ norm )~ ...... raw food, simply wonderful .....
